Lead Plumber

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced plumber to join our team. The job will involve domestic installations and associated works involved with the SEAI grant schemes.  We provide the most competitive rates in the market along with training and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing problems.
  • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in a clean and tidy manner and there is minimal disruption to the homeowner.
  • Always acting in a courteous, helpful and professional manner with customers and the general public while working on behalf of the company.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards in line with manufacturers guidelines, SEAI code of practice and building regulations.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and equipment
  • Gas/Oil boiler installation, Heating control upgrades, Radiator, pipework & tank replacements
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted and work on own initiative.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Qualified Domestic Craft Plumber
  • RGII Qualification
  • OFTEC Qualification
  • Heat pump installation experience an advantage
  • Be familiar with SEAI Codes of Practice
  • 3 years + experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Safepass

Site Manager

Job Description

The site manager will be responsible for overseeing operations of various sites on a day-to-day basis and that projects comes in on time and in budget.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the public
  • Supervising construction workers and hiring sub-contractors
  • Buying materials for each phase of the project
  • Monitoring build costs and project progress
  • Conducting quality and safety inspections
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Motivating the workforce
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
  • Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all sites at all times

Education/Training

  • 5 year’s construction experience
  • Safepass and manual handling training
  • Good communication skills, Problem-solving skills and Decision-making ability
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Teamworking skills
  • Good knowledge of building methods and regulations.

Sales Representative/Surveyor

Job Description

The Sales Representative/Surveyor is responsible for all sales activities i.e. selling insulation services and surveyor duties. Provide complete and appropriate energy options for each customer and advise on most cost-effective solution.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Present, quote and sell company services and grant options to current and new clients
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls and field activity
  • Generate new customer leads through cold calling and report details of same to the manager on a weekly basis
  • Arrange, manage, and track all appointments with customers and maintain a daily record to be reported on in weekly sales meeting
  • Conduct site surveys on properties as part of the sales process.
  • Supply management with monthly reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services 
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships to ensure future sales
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction 
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule 
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments 
  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports 
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends 
  • Continuously improve through feedback 
  • Follow-up for collection of payment
Education/Training
  • 2 years’ experience within the industry with a technical background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Snagger/Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The Snagger/Quality Control Technician is responsible for making sure that the services we provide meet a set of standards. Their duties include examining work carried out by the installation team and fixing any discrepancies that may arise.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out quality assessment measures of all the services we offer
  • Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines
  • Providing training to the installation team
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
  • Recommend improvement measures to the installation process to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Fix/Repair any issues that arise from an installation
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels
Education/Training
  • 2 years’ experience within the industry with a technical background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Valid, clean drivers license
  • Safepass, Manual Handling
